Milnrow Band Launches New Seat Sponsorship Programme
Milnrow Band has launched a new Seat Sponsorship Programme, giving supporters the opportunity to sponsor a seat within the band and play a direct role in supporting our musical future.
Milnrow Retain the Scottish Open Title
Milnrow Band have retained the Scottish Open Championship title, securing a second consecutive victory at Perth Concert Hall. Conducted by Christopher Binns, the band topped a strong Championship Section field, with Jacob Hickson also winning the Best Euphonium Award on his first appearance at the contest.
John Doyle Steps Down as Musical Director.
Milnrow Band announces that Musical Director John Doyle has stepped down from his position with immediate effect.
Adding Experience and Quality.
Milnrow Band welcomes three new players to the ranks; Steve Ridler, Olli Atherton and Laura Whittaker whilst long serving band member Donna Towse moves to a new soloist seat.

Derek Rogers 1943-2020
Today the band said goodbye to Derek Rogers, a valued friend of the band and committee member. Derek had been a fierce supporter of the band for longer than many can remember, he could usually be found with our former President Ken Watts - who sadly also passed away last year.
