🎺 Championship Brass In Concert – Live at Hare Hill Park! 🎶
Join us for an fabulous afternoon of world-class music as a Milnrow Brass Band brings its powerful, stirring sound to Hare Hill Park, Littleborough on Saturday, 7th September, from 2pm to 4pm.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the park, this open-air concert is the perfect way to enjoy a late summer afternoon with family and friends. Bring a picnic blanket, soak in the atmosphere, and let the music move you!

St Georges Day Celebration
Milnrow Band will be performing a selection of English heritage music, also featuring vocalist Victor Michaels. Accompanying the first-class music will be a generous serving of Pie, Peas & Gravy.

Ribble Valley Music Festival
Ribble Valley Music Festival - Milnrow Band will accompany extracts from popular film sequences on the big screen, and will be performing music from the likes of John Williams, Hanz Zimmer, John Barry and many more. This is a pre-festival event ahead of the opening night in April.

Remembrance Concert
Join us for a free short concert at Milnrow Workmen’s Club following the Milnrow Remembrance Service.
Milnrow Remembrance Parade
We will be heading the Remembrance Parade again this year as always, starting out on Cornfield Street and heading to Milnrow Memorial Park for the service and back again.
Last Night of The Proms
We’re back at Milnrow Cricket Club for our annual Last Night of The Proms concert, always an audience favourite!
Sunday Brass at Boarshurst Band Club
Sunday Brass at Boarshurst Band Club is probably one of the most popular brass band concert series running in the North of England with bands and audience members travelling from far and wide to take part. This concert will also be live streamed on Facebook via the Boarshurst Band Club page.
Last Night of the Ribble Valley Proms
A stunning performance with music from great composers of the 20th century: Copland, Elgar, The Beatles, Lauridsen, Wood, Bernstein, The Drifters, Williams, Norman, Parry, and more with a flag waving climax of proms favourites.
Milnrow Calling
We’ll be performing at this year’s Milnrow Calling - “A brand new music festival based in the village of Milnrow; featuring up-and-coming artists, top tribute acts, local bands and community groups.”
Showcase Brass!
The band will be returning to Dobcross Band Club as part of their Showcase Brass! series.

Milnrow & Newhey Districts Community Carnival
Join us for the annual Milnrow & Newhey Carnival as we head the parade through Newhey and then Milnrow.
Whit Friday Quickstep March Contests - Saddleworth
Dubbed the greatest free show on Earth, the Whit Friday march contests in Saddleworth are something that truly need to be experienced to fully understand. The band will look to compete at as many village venues as time allows, offering a street and contest march at each.
All events are free to enter.
Coronation Concert
Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III at Moorhouse Methodist Church, Milnrow.
The Grand Shield
We travel back to Blackpool, this time to compete in the Grand Shield contest as part of the Spring Festival. Placing in the top two of this contest would see the band return to the British Open Championships for the first time since 2017.

We’re heading over the hills to play for the good people of Slaithwaite, always a great audience. Entry is free with a collection.

North West Regional Championships 2023
Back in Blackpool for the annual opportunity to compete against the best bands in the North West with the possibility of gaining qualification to the National Championships of Great Britain in October.
