North West Area Championships
Milnrow Band will be competing at the 2026 North West Area Brass Band Championships on Sunday 1st March at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
The North West Area contest is one of the most prestigious dates in the brass band calendar, bringing together bands from across the region to compete for qualification to the National Finals. Milnrow Band is proud to represent the North West and looks forward to performing on this historic stage.
Scottish Open Brass Band Championship Contest
The band travel to Perth to defend their “2024 Champion” title
The Scottish Open Brass Band Championship Contest is a prestigious annual event, attracting the highest quality bands. It takes place in the magnificent Perth Concert Hall.
In 2024 the band were crowned Scottish Open Champions. The first English band to win the title in 14 years. This year the band take the 240 mile trip to Perth with one single task. Do it again and bring the trophy back to Milnrow for another year.
